Description
I was hiking through Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge, in Virginia, when I noticed the patterns in the water created by a passing motor boat. Attracted to the patterns, I setup my camera and captured this view of Holiday Island out in Occoquan Bay, where the Occoquan River flows into the Potomac River. This is a small privately owned island, one I occasionally enjoy photographing.
